I just got this 2 days ago. I was excited and tried it out right away.
It worked just fine on the first day but then i put it back in the box because I had no need for it.
Today is the weekend and I decided to took a small trip to the lake so I took out the GPS receiver. I tried to pair up the treo with the receiver, at first it connected just fine but 2-3 seconds later it lost connection and it never came back.
I tried resetting my treo and GPS receiver many times, also tried waited 1hr between each resets too.
That did not work, so I figured it must be my treo so i hard reseted it but the problem still there. I tested my treo with other BT devices and it work fine.
I tried connecting using the USB cable that came with the receiver to use with my laptop/PC but it still does not come up on the GPS scanner.

Anybody got any solutions for this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Which application are u using with the GPS?

I've had the 236 for 6 months and its been working great w/ my treo.

Using TomTom, if its not paired w/ a BT GPS, it will list a local scan of devices and prompt me to pick one.

I've also tried Mapopolis but i've had less success getting that to work well.

I think you misunderstood... the problem isn't with the software but its with the bluetooth of the GPS unit.
Well technical support seems to be familiar with the problem. They instruct me to send it back to them and they will replace/repair it for me.
I hope i don't have to wait too long for it, since I'm travelling a bit during summer time, its helpful to use it.
I'm using the most up to date TomTom, TT5.
I paired it up just fine on the first day when i opened the box, it just the 2nd time I tried to use it bluetooth went dead.

Thanks

I had this problem with my first one, so it was sent back and replaced. the replacement is great. I no longer use it with my T650, but use it with my MDA Vario
