Disappearing POI's

Whilst I am aware there is a limit of 27 Poi's that can be added by ones self (under firmware 5.202) does that mean you can only select 27 to show up while driving at a time or does this mean that you can only have 27 extra in the map folder in total.

The reason I ask is one Poi that I look out for wherever I happen to be driving about has suddenly disappeared from view but is still in the map folder

Once you hit 27 any more wont show up full stop!

They dont show in the navigate to > poi or on the show / warn poi lists

I wonder if the unit counts the poi's in the order they are added or perhaps some other method, I just cant work out how it counts them.

It counts them in the order of their location in the File Allocation Table, which means it might see the last own loaded, and not see one that had worked before.

Your confusing me now what with file allocation stuff, suffice to say that if I keep a total of 27 of my own added POI's they should all show up which I assume would include the Pocket World Speed Camera's & the Quick cam.

This 27 limit is a real pain in the arse.

If i was to put several POI's in one category say for example Tesco, Sainsbury, Kwiksave & Somerfield would the relevant bmp show up for each store.

No, there can be only 1 .bmp with each POI category.
