Just received my TT5 upgrade.
Put CD1 in, and the setup app does starts.
I accept the licence agreement.
With TT3 I would then install the app to the Pocket PC and the maps
to the SD card.
Now with TT5, I can install the maps to the SD card, but how do I
install the app. There is no option on the setup screen to do so - almost as if I've already installed it.

Took the drastic measure of hard resetting my Ipaq (2210), and then
tried to install again. Still no app.

So what is stopping the app getting installed?

CD1 is the first of 6 maps CDs - the application and user manual is on another CD named 'application/user manual'

There is also an installation bug that can leave the setup.exe file from the first CD you use on your hard disk. When you attempt to run the next CD it picks up the setup.exe file from the first CD rather than replacing it with the one from the current CD. As a result you can get the wrong setup menu.

If you have hit this bug you need to remove the setup.exe file from your hard disk before running the next CD - it's probably in somewhere like c:/windows/temp/setup.exe.
