tom tom go 300 new sd card

recently bought a 1 gb SD card for my tt300. I am trying to copy all the information from my original card to the new one but cant get it too work. The card is a Ultra 2 from sandisk and have been told it will work with the tom tom. Also i wont to be able to include the camera data base. Can anyone help me as i am pulling my hair out.
