Cooked BT MK 2 !!!!!

Last night it was a cold and misty night in Surrey. Got the TT 5.1 going with the BT receiver in its' usual place up on the dashboard sitting securly in the dip of the windscreen vent. After ten mins of navigating ok everything on the HP 4700 went grey and I lost the sat signal. The BT receiver was solid green light instead of flashing. I noticed that the poor little unit was also very hot! Well I gues it would be, sitting in the windscreen vent with the heater blower going full blast! Left the receiver on the passenger seat to cool down and then very quickly I got the sat signals back and normal service was resumed. Funny, I never had this problem in the summer with the heater off. I must find a better location for winter driving!
