Does anyone have a possible release date for this new unit? Can we expect a price point similar to the 168, its predecessor?

I am also very curious!

When will it be released, and can they keep the price near that of the 168?

It is said, that you can swap the battery, but when you do so, will the saved data be lost or not?

At:

they expect it to have in stock at November the 7th and with a price of ₤250 (168 costs there ₤200)

Does Windows Mobile 5 require an upgrade of ActiveSync on the PC?

And am I right in thinking that either WM5 or the new AS do not support synchronising between PDA adn PC using WiFi?

If so, how can you connect a WM5 PDA to a wireless router? Is there a Bluetooth equivalent?
