Good idea, but let's hope that TT doesn't throw a wobbly and deposit you in the middle of a field in the middle of nowhere with no GPS signal.
It can happen, as you well know! _________________ Nokia E65 & TT Nav6 |

the wife is going to put the route to test by running it whilst following the route on a map, trouble is she doesn't know her left from her right! |

Wife doesn't know left from right - another one!
In our car it's 'Your side' 'My side'. Sometimes that gets muddled too....!! |

we both get the same train to work in the morning, and if she is standing in front of me on the platform and says "which way do you want to go to sit down?" i have to tap her on the shoulder, other wise we have 50/50 chance of going different ways.
question is, do i trust to check the route works?
p.s. if anyone lives on the route from london to devon, (or probably 10 miles either side) watch out for me traveling around in circles trying to get there. |

when i couldn't see where she was pointing! |

Going on the A303? If so it passes precisely ten miles from me - so I'll see you passing by....and again....and again...and...... |

I hope the confusion factor in your household isn't as bad as in mine. We're going to Germany for a few days; me driving + wife and in-laws. I thought we were leaving next Thursday; I discovered last night we're booked a ferry on Wednesday..... never mind, I'll have TT to talk to me.
That's another unusual use for TT; to keep mother-in-law quiet; "Sssshh! I can't hear the instructions!" |

That's pretty much it but for the day of the week. At least once we get there I'm dumping them for a couple of days and buzzing off to a classic race meeting at Spa.
Thanks to TT I can plot distances and times when planning such trips thus having evidence of how close, how quick etc.
This time it's entirely coincidental that there's a race meeting the same weekend as wifey's old school reunion. It's survival of the fittest - or the most devious.... |
