[Donegal TDI]

Just received icn630 today.

Initial impressions good, gave it a good workover.

However, I live in a part of the world that Navman, or Garmin for that matter, have not thought necessary to digitise the requisite maps, very poor map coverage for Donegal, Northwest Ireland.



If it even had the ability to self map, i.e. when driving along a road that isn't mapped, it would be encoded into the base map even as a single black line, and stay there. Gradually one would build up a nice network pertinent to the individual user, particularly if one lives in a rural area.



I'm VERY disappointed that it doesn't have the capability to draw a trace on the map as to where one has been.

I saw this feature once on a Garmin unit.
