Flag icon??

Another excellent 800 mile trip over the weekend made simple by my TTG. However I did notice a small "flag" on occasions in the bottom left hand corner but no time to study it while driving and it was soon gone. Anyone any ideas what it might have been? I believe all the other info on the bottom panel briefly disappeared while the flag was showing.

I think it displays the flag sometimes when it is recalculating the route after it has lost the satallite signal and regained it. I think the flag symbolises the start point (ie the point from which it is recalculating the route).

Cheers TM. After 16 months of use I would have thought I would have noticed this before but over the weekend I saw it on several occasions.
