how many times has your code been activated?
you might need to contact tomtom on 0845 161 0009 to see about getting your code activated again.

go to www.ttcode.com and it should give you new activation code as long as its been over seven days since your last activation

If you you a trying to install vs5, why are you installing vs3 first? the vs5 should be an install in its own right. You don't need TT3 on the PDA to get vs5 to work - Mike

if it is driving you that mad, backup your personal data, do a HARD reset that will REMOVE everything and start from scratch, that way tomtom will have to ask you for a code if you want to do it that way.
