Move E-Roads to back?

Can anyone explain what this option ("Move E-Roads to back") does in "preferences", please?



I checked the manual ans searched this forum and nada.

It's for use in mainland Europe primarily, where many roads have both a national number and a E number. I believe TomTom Navigator defaults to using E numbers, but if you're in an area where E numbers are not well marked on road signs, or you know the national numbers better, you can opt to use the national numbers in preference.



I believe at least some roads in the UK have E numbers, but nobody knows them and they never appear on road signs.
