I have Route66 Mobile installed on a Nokia 6600.

I can't find an obvious way to delete saved routes ... can anyone help?

I also have a Bury hands free car kit but Route66 doesn't seem to want to use the car speakers. The voice activates on the phone speaker (which I can't hear as I have the radio on), then it mutes the radio (which serves no purpose as the voice message has finished). Any ideas (apart from ditch either Route66 or the car kit!).

Thanks.

Hi,

Your handsfree problems are most likely related to the firmware running on your phone - it certainly affects the way TomTom performs when using a carkit. If you enter *#0000# on your 6600 it will tell you what firmware you are running - here's a link to a previous thread with a similar topic which should help you on which firmware version you need >> http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=23731

Hi Owen, thanks for the response.

Looking at the advice at the link you posted, seems like firmware version fixed a similar problem with TomTom satnav. My firmware version is v5.27.0 which already appears to be the latest version for the Nokia 6600?

Any other ideas?

For information, I now have an answer on deleting saved routes in Route66 Mobile. There is no option withing the program but you can manually delete routes as follows:-

Routes are saved on the MMC in a file called Res (the file extension *.wpt). You can use File Manager on your mobile phone (in the folder Tools), then select \Route66\Res. In this folder you will find all your routes saved in "*.wpt" format.

Just the voice through carkit issue to resolve and I'll be a happy bunny!
