Hi Guy`s,
I`ve just recieved my second 1 gig card from Ebuyer,my first one was a viking 1 gig card which was found to be faulty, and my new one is a sandisk 1 gig which i have formated and copied all my files over to,but for some reason my go 500 doesn`t like it.After i safely remove hardware the little animated GO shows the machine rejecting the card and putting a cross through it. Can anyone suggest anything that i maybe doing wrong, cause i dont want to send it back to Ebuyer as their returns policy stinks and takes forever.Thanks. |

What did you format it at? Fat, Fat32 or somethingelse. Is a Hi-Speed 1GB card as the TTG has a preference for these. _________________ Richard

I had this problem and eventually found that the amount of bytes copied was not the same as on the original card. I then named the card TOMTOM and then reloaded it and it worked. |

I don't understand why you even formatted the card since they come ready for use. I have in the past purchased Viking 512 SD,( for TTG 300) 256 MMC (for Nokia 6230), 512 RS MMC (for Nokia 7610) & 128 SD Dane-Lec (for Pentax Camera). I did not format any of these cards just put data straight on them.
All of these cards are in everyday use with no problems. _________________ TTG 300,External Aerial
