I have ordered a Dell Axim PDA, and I`m going to order a Pretec CF GPS-card.
I want to use it when I walk in the nountains along paths that are almost invisible.
So my question is: Where can I get software for this purpose?
Or can I just use one standard software for this? _________________ Best regards from TurboDad |

If you're looking for use in Norway, then you'll probably find OziExplorer better, and you can either scan paper maps or download digital maps and then calibrate these.
If you were looking at UK usage then I would suggest Memory-Map or Fugawi UK. |

If you are looking at scanning maps then you will need both OziExplorer for the PC and OziExplorerCE. You might also want to look at Fugawi 3 (not the UK version).
We have reviews of these products on this site. _________________ Mike Barrett |

I have a Dell and the Pretec (make sure it's not the LP version as this is no good for walking).
I use Fugawi for my walking, and I use downloaded maps. However, that method may have copyright issues so I'm not going to repeat the details here.
But scanned in maps is a 'Legal'ish solution
