I am searching for a good PDA and the right GPS to nav during a ride and a flight

PDA : this will be the 2200 serie(don't have it yet)

GPS : well I thought about the Navman, also because of the NMEA output...



What's the best choise for me .... or shall I say us flyers ?

dario,

1) Choose the PDA with the very best screen brightness.

Ipaq 39** series are brighter than 38**.This is a critical factor in cockpit conditions.

2) Choose a stand alone GPS, it will be easier to position for best signal reception. Bluetooth may not really be allowed in a cockpit.

I use a Leadtek GPS for flying and this has not let me down.

3) Don't forget a power source unless your plane has a 12v socket.

4) Have alook at the various aviation articles on this site. Another software review is about to be released.
