Slow Display Refresh with Speed Camera Database

When I use TomTom's speed camera database the map display scrolls smoothly. However, when I use the Pocket GPS Speed Camera Database the map display moves jerkily and the sysem seems to pause from time to time.

Is there a reason for this & can it be fixed?

The reason it refreshes slowly is because of the volume of data it has to process with all the POIs displayed. If you hide the POIs is will run smoother and show the POIs only when you are near them.
