|
Got around to trying tt5 on the road at last. I have various gripes which made me wonder which donkey works for TomTom and was responsible for the tt3-tt5 upgrade.
However, after reading around here and setting my menus to be more sensible and getting 7 digit postcodes to actually work I am mellowing a little.
Am I the only one to have a tt5 which talks about rotaries instead of roundabouts - even after resetting the language to EnglishUK?
It seems that others are already asking how to put the postcode routing in the top menu and how can I get the PPC hardware buttons to work like they did in tt3. _________________ iPAQ1940, TT3 TT Bluetooth GPS, Memory-Map OS2004 Ver. 4.4.0, Delorme Earthmate Blue Logger. |

Your using an American voice. You need to use a UK one. |

So is there also a dedicated 'brummie' voice for residents of Birmingham UK, where roundabouts are known as 'islands'? |

Thanks for the tips.
I thought I had made all the EnglishUK choices and find my only voice is this US one. I shall have to see how I can get the UK one available on my PPC - another pain with tt5 upgrade |

Which you can freely download from TomTom (if you have a licenced copies)
Go to the Plus services menu (while in the ActiveSync Cradle is probably best) and then selct languages and low and behold Jane is there as a free download. _________________ iPhone5, TomTom, Google maps, Navfree, Viewranger and Apple Maps (ekk) |
