Ok
It's loaded now, went and did an OTN update and got an error message - something about a proxy server not found. OTN has now disappeared from the system tray. All that was left in My Doc's is a bmp file only.

Any ideas?

Pete

Got two error messages after a reboot:-

1/ The remote server returned an error (403) forbidden

2/ An unhanlded exception has occurred....cannot access a disposed object named "formToast".

It's not looking too good!

Currently OTN does not support proxy servers - I am working on this now!

This may seem like a bit of a simple solution...but..

I have an old PC that i sometimes play around with Linux on. One of the things i do is make it visible to the web as a personal webserver.

Im sure it wouldnt be too difiicult to drag across the traffic...OV2 file so i could retireve it when im mobile and using either dialup or GPRS connectivity.

Im using a free dynamic dns service as part of the Netgear router package so i dont need to worry about my IP address.

any thoughts?

Paul

Hi I get

"underlying connection was closed: Unable to connect to remote server"

I noticed there are 2 XML config files in the app directory, which one is actually used? What should it look like.

Thanks

I figured out which of the xml config files are used, and here is the content which I'm sure is wrong? The trafficfeeds key looks a bit odd! :-)

<Key Name="DeviceSyncPath" Value="\My Documents\" />

<Key Name="UpdateInterval" Value="18000" />

<Key Name="UpdateNotify" Value="False" />

</AppSettings>

<TrafficFeeds />

</Configuration>

oka97 - travelfeeds.opml holds the URL's for all the TPEG travel feeds.

The config file simply holds application settings. The travelfeeds key is intentionally empty, as this was going to be used for holding custom feed url's. As no-one but the Beeb is publishing these at the moment it's redundant.

I've posted it to PocketGpsWorld, but if you want me to mail you it in the meantime send an email to otn@nospam.delphi-dolphin.com - removing the obvious bit!

I cut down the opml file to this but still received the same error, the XML file in the HTTP location's definitely there so I'm totally stumped as to why this isn't working Sad

Are you behind a proxy server?

If not you'll need to wait until the new version is posted on here as it produces better error logs that allow me to establish exactly what went wrong.
