300 backup problem

I am trying to copy my sd card but it stops on "Great_Britain-map" file in my map folder. it doesnt give a file ext, but says Tom Tom Configuration. I get an error saying its corrupt.

Can i just copy this file from a previous b/up. previous ones seem smaller in size 11.2 kb to my current 12.1 kb

The Great_Britain-Map.cfg file in the Map Folder contains the settings that you have made. Like Favourites, the Warn When Near settings, and Recent Destinations. The difference in size is caused by the current data it holds as it is continually being re-written.

If you delete this file TTG will create a new one on the next startup. You will just lose your Favourites and settings.

If you delete it, you can copy it from your backup. It just might not be as uptodate as the deleted one.
