Well my TTG got me and the family on a 2300 mile round trip to Bavaria/Austria and back a treat. I am well pleased.
My only gripe is tha on the MoWE there are no tourist POI data which really let me down.
I use this so much in the UK and presumed the MoWE would be the same, but not so.
Why are there none present? Does anyonw know? |

The MOWE map always comes with an empty POI.DAT file. Simply copy the file of your destination region (eg Germany) over. But be aware that most of the POIs will not be navigatable because the MOWE streets don't reach to them.

Is there some confusion here between MOWE (maps of Western Europe - detailed street level maps of individual countries) and MRE (Major Roads of Europe - less detailed map of the whole of Europe in a single map)?

I have both.
I used Major Roads to get there and then South Germany and Austria whilst there.
There were no tourist POI for the South German or Austrian maps |

Yes, I thought Lutz might have got confused - because he said that MOWE may not have street level detail all the way to the POIs - whereas I think he really meant MRE.
