Trailing Zero in GPS Positions

I'm compiling a few ov2 files for my POI's.
I'm using Excel to create the files and this is working well. :D

The final file is looking like:
-1.890577,52.987257,Alton Towers (ST10 4DB)

I configured the Excel column (for the Lon/Lat) for TEXT so that whatever I enter, will not be formatted in any way.

The coordinated I entered were
Long: -1.8905770
Lat: 52.9872570

There is a trailing zero here but when I save the file as a .csv, Excel crops this off.

I hope this is not too stupid a question but, here it goes..

DOES THE TRAILING ZERO MATTER IN THE GPS COORDINATES?
I.e: The zero matters if I offer someone £5 or £50.

Or

Is it like the zero in a decimal where it can safely be discarded?

As the trailing zero is after the decmal point it is of no consequence. For example 5.10000 is no different to 5.1
