the sats don't care about summer time. they always work off GMT.
It wouldnt work anyhow - right now you (Europe) are on summer time while we (US) are not - we switch a week later. _________________ Lutz

Lutz,
"the sats don't care about summer time. they always work off GMT."
In the interest of pedantry, don't they work off UTC? _________________ Tim |

You have to change the time zone on it so it reads GMT + 1 hour. Have a hunt through the settings, I am sure you will find it there somewhere.
If you think about it, the GPS receiver would have a difficult job tracking all the different time zones in the world, so they don't bother. They just use a fixed time zone (known as UTC or GMT) and leave the user to apply an offset depending on how many hours ahead or behind universal time they are. |
