With the Mark II GPS. Has anyone done any tests to see how long this will actually last on a full charge?

I know what the manual says but I'm interested experiences in real life in starting from full charge down to when the unit stops functioning.

Are there any significant factors that affect battery life? Such as distance between the GPS and the PDA/Phone?

I thought that the TT5 BT was meant to change the green light on the side to red when the unit required charging. Been using it for 4 weeks now but have not seen a red light yet and have not charged the unit in all that time. Impressed. Use the unit daily for 1 hour at a time.

I ran mine for about 5 hours solid (on my desk at work) before it died. This was with whatever charge level it had from the factory as I hadn't charged it at all.

The official specs quote 10 hours - I'm dubious.
