WARNING. On the latest Mapsource 6.5 upgrade, the Import and Export tags on File menu have disappeared. Anyone any idea how I can now import your most excellent Speed Camera database?
regards to all. |

Just completed a mamoth task!
Instead of the Camera number I can now see 40M24--[40mph-MobileCamera-Number of unit]. It's important to know the camera is there but equally to know what the limit is!!!!
I use Garmin iQue3600 in the car and eMap for walking. I remove all cameras above my 'corridor' Pembrokeshire to London and Dover and below, so reducing the 5300 to 2400 of useful locations. I can easily add other areas as needed. |

I have written a program which can convert the database (.csv file) directly to Garmin Mapsource files (*.gdb or *.mps) so there's no longer a need to import *.wpt files into Mapsource.
You can download it (free) here:

I originally wrote the program to convert Geocache files (*.loc & *.gpx) into Mapsource and I recently added the speed camera functionality. |

Do you have a program to change the format. If you don't then I could reformat the data for you and include it in the ZIP file for download. I assume that you convert the single file version of the database.
Would the file have to be in GPX format?
