I am adding additional POI's in TTN5 using the inbuilt system. i firstly add a category name and then add the POI's i want associated with that category. Is there anyway i can add my own icons to these POI's as the inbuild ones are pretty lame? I know i can probably export them to a PC and do it that way but id rather dump my own icons on the PDA and do it there. I get bored o the train to work! 
Anyone now if it can be done ?

Yes it can. Just create on PC, remember it's a max of 22x22 pixels, and copy to overwrite the unwanted one.

If you want to actually edit the icons on the PDA, then you'll need an image editor on it. ( My older iPaq only has image viewers, do the newer ones have editors supplied as standard? )
One thing I have found is that while images 16 x 16 or higher get a black border added, those under that size don't! ( My first icons were 12 x 12 as they were perfectly visible and didn't take up too much screen area. ) |
