Connectivity Problem between TomTom Bluetooth GPS & Palm

Hi all.

I have a TomTom Navigator Bluetooth GPS receiver which I use with my
Palm TX, and recently I've had trouble establishing a link between my
Palm TX and the TomTom Bluetooth GPS receiver. When I turn on the GPS
receiver then open the TomTom application on my Palm TX, in almost all
cases, the Palm will not detect an available GPS receiver and will
display a message indicating that no GPS signal/receiver is detected.
In order to get the Palm to establish a link with the Bluetooth GPS
receiver, I have to perform a hard reboot of the Palm TX (using the
recessed button on the back of the Palm TX), and only then will the GPS
receiver communicate with the Palm. Just curious if anyone else has
experienced this problem or knows of a fix. Thanks!

Welcome to the forums.

You are not doing a hard reboot (that would destroy all data), you do a soft reset.

Do you have the same problem with other programs that use the GPS receiver? Mapopolis for example?
