Hi all

Just a quick question about updates im running tomtom ver 5.00 on a ipaq 1710 at the moment can i use the latest updates on this machine. ie ver 5.10

Yes - but 5.10 does not fix any bugs on the 1710. So you can run 5.1 and still enjoy battery drain when the device is switched off, lag when POIs are visible, instructions given too early etc.

Don't know about 5.21 though - should run OK on the 1710, but it is unclear what the patch is meant to fix.

5.21 runs just fine on the 1710 - so far. I've got a long drive tonight so if I get any problems I'll report them here.
