Bluetooth Bonding

I recently updated my IPAQ 3970 ROM and as a result my Bluetooth needs re-bonding to my Socket device.



I have quite forgotten how to do this, with particular reference to the actual pass number.



Any help greatfully recieved and before 12:00 Friday I should add because I am going away for the weekend to a house party where many ancient walkers will be congregating, totally unaware that I will be taking my GPS system out on the hills on Sunday, ready, willing and able to give them all a bit of a fright.

The pass key is 0183. Go into Bluetooth Manager, then the settings option and you'll find a passkey option there for all devices, set this to 0183. Once completed, turn on the Socket, in BT Manager search for new devices and you should find the socket, tap this then create a bond. It should chirp and say bond is created. Then select off the menu connect to serial port and this will bind it to the serial port (COM8/7).

Well done oh mighty DB and more power to you locational elbow I say.



It did the trick all right although the walking triumph ended up a dead squib as no one had the slightest intrest in the Socket and IPAQ system.
