I definitely wouldn't consider using Handtech again. I tried to order a ThinkNavi cradle from them and firstly recieved the wrong one and after I sent that back I was told that the replacement was on the way when they hadn't even got the correct one in stock. The only thing they did get right was to refund me the next day, It didn't include my postage costs, but you just give up with people like that.

Hi thanks for your helpful note on the Thinknavi - which i have recently purchased for my Ipaq 3715. It also took an age for my first satelite fix. Thereafter, it does if i take the unit out and put it in a few hours later- fix again within a few seconds. However, if i take the unit out over night (not safe even just to leave the cradle in aas i park on road) and refix next day - it can take about 10 minutes to get the first staelite fix of the day. Is this normal? It means that i have to sit in the car for 10 mins before starting off if i want to use the sat nav! A real pain. Your advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks again
