I take it that when you add your own POI's (e.g. safety cameras) that they are invisible on the map - you only get a verbal or icon warning of their approach?

Grogged,

I have the speed cameras loaded onto my Acer N35 with Destinator and as well as the advisory verbal and visual warning of impending sites as you approach them, the locations of the speed cameras are visible on the maps so you can see their locations around the country if you are scrolling through maps of the UK and so you do have advanced knowledge of their locations prior to your journey, you just see the camera icon underimposed on the roadways.

Thanks Steve.

I've also had time to RTFM Embarassed , and I notice that there is a little "eye" icon, that seems to control their visibility on the map.

I must say the most confusing thing for me, was that when you import your POI's they go into favorites, and are not added to the general POI, as I expected.

I'm very impressed with PN so far.
This is my first satnav product (well first that works, but that's another story Sad ). I'm sure I'll run into all the niggles that the experienced have, but so far I'm very happy.
