Here's me wanting to go and see one of those new fangled moving picture shows (cinemas, I think they call them). So what better way to find my nearest cinema than to search the POI's on myTT5.
I was dismayed to find that the nearest one was 74 miles away in Derby. Nothing in Chester, Liverpool, Manchester etc etc.
Looks like the peasants in the North don't deserve entertainment. Oh well, they may have invented talking pictures by the time they open one here !
Can anyone else check their POI's for cinemas to see if there is a complete absence of them in the north-west, or is it just my TT5
Cheers

It's not TTN5 at fault it's the old 'The North starts at Watford Gap, stops at Leeds, the rest is Scotland' (a totally different counrty as far as the southerners are concerned) way of thinking rearing it's ugly head again. _________________ If riding in a plane is flying then riding in a boat is swimming. You are right, don't go south of Scotch Corner, there be dragons :P
As for the cinemas, searched for ones closest to my home (Gateshead), Edniburgh was the nearest, quite useless! |

Have they stopped the men with the travelling slideshows then?
I always used to look forward to their monthly visits when I lived in the North.javascript:emoticon('')
