Have a look at this

I would not recommend Navigon 5 at this time as I have it and its real SLOW, I read somewhere that a patch should have been released to update some of the problems but have not seen it yet, so I don't know which gps software to recommend, I am still using Navigon or TT3 on my PDA's although I have Navigon on one of them. |

I purchased the 168 with Navigon from Novatech a month ago & I guess I was lucky as it was on order for ages so I got it for £113 inc vat. If you look about it is hard to find just a mio 168 without any mapping software for that price so the way I see it is that I got Nav 5 for nothing.
It is true that N 5 is very very slow but a patch is on its way which should sort this out but until then I use TT5. Save some money & wait until Novatec get them in, I think they have them for £130 with N5 now so it is still a saving if you compare other online shops.

I belive they are in stock ?

cheers for all the info :D
I got a reply off novatech who say they dont know when they will be getting any more mio 168's back in, so i headed down to comet to check out the acer n35,jesus the woman was well thick!! told me the unit comes with NO MAPS because it is so cheap(249.99) that you have to download your own maps?? ?? i explained that it comes with a 256 mb mem card and comes with maps preinstalled, but she wouldnt have it and said it only comes with a 64mb card. i gave up in the end! staff training wouldnt go a miss
The sites i have found a mio 168 on are about £220 with no maps or mem card so i thought novatech was good value considering you get a map and 256 card,no where else can touch there price.will check out ebuyer for a acer |
