Problem Searching for Roads/Streets

Does anyone else have problems searching for places in TomTom 2.05?



I seem unable to locate many places because although they live in a particular town, the street can not be found. If I do some research and find out the name of the parish they are in, then bingo I can find it by using the parish as the city/town.



As an example I live in Luton, 2 miles from the centre of town. However if I search for my address it will not be found. Instead I am listed as living in Streatly - a village several miles down the road. Streatly also happens to be my parish. I have also tried the poscode search but also does not work.



Is there a way of doing a global search for a street name ? I know it would be slow, but at least you could go through the results to find the correct one.

This is a problem with TTN and the way the addresses are organised - mostly they are filed by council area rather than town or county - fantastic!
