help please with ttg300

ok i have an ttg300 and tried to update the uk maps today and now i cant get my ttg to work all i get is the hands and the tomtom on screen and it does not do anything else can some1 1 please tell me how to fix this ps i did not back the card up either ??

which maps did you try to update? GO300 comes with the latest maps available.

First try to reset your device: stick a paperclip in the little resethole at the bottom. Now try again to start it.

You could try to install the latest update v.5201, if your GO300 was bought very recently (last 4 weeks). Recently the hardware was changed with a new flashrom chip. Application 5.200 and older were not compatible with that, and stopped at the black screen with tomtom hands.

You need to install v.5.201 or higher to solve this.

mine was v5.0 and i was trying to update it to 5.201 when it stopped halfway through im just gona try to update just the card and my other pc with card reader built in ill let you know how i get on
