Switch from Navigation to map

When driving on the motorway between different junctions I find it easyier to use the Map. When I am near a junction I wish to exit from, I would then like to switch back to Navigation. What is the safest and easyest way to do this whilst driving.

I think you could assign hardware buttons to switch in and out of Navigator and Map view, or you could set your Safety Screen speed lower so that if you did decelerate approaching the junction it would then flip back to a map view in the Navigator Screen.
