The GPS signal was lost X sec ago

Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I searched before posting, honest.

I'm using an HP iPAQ rx3700 series and have TomTom Navigator 5 on it, the Bluetooth version.

Now, it's been working great so far, with a few connection hiccups there but who doesn't.

But recently the bluetooth and the PDA won't connect. All that's on the TomTom Navigator screen is:

The GPS signal was lost
X min ago

And the time just keeps going up. What's going on? This is the first we've had this problem and the thing is obsolete now. Both bluetooth devices have been turned on so I have no idea what's the problem.

If anyone can lend me a hand that would be much appreciated, thanks.

have you done a soft reset ,or try removing the bluetooth & setting up again

Are you sure the probelm is not with the GPS device? Thats the way mine works.

It says that there is no device if not connected to the device. If connected to the device, but the device has no signal lock you get the message you metion.

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
