hi guy's

got the upgrade to TT% mainly for the full postcodes and it doesn't work!!

I have read about the need for a dir called tomtom in the root directory but haven't got a clue where/how to do this

anyone else found a solution?

that possibly tells me what to do..it sure as hell doesn't tell me how..

Try something like this.

Connect your PDA to you computer with using Microsoft ActiveSync

In the ActiveSync menu select File -> Explore

Double click on My Pocket PC

Double click on Storage Card

Then from thye menu File -> New Folder

Click on the new folder to highlight it then RIGHT click and select Re-name.

Name this new folder Tomtom.

Thats's it. On restarting TomTom5 you should now be able to get 7 digit postcodes.

as previously mentioned it's a plam T3 ..so the pocketpc fix isn't applicable :-(

I have exactly the same problems on my Zodiac.

I have tried everything on here, but still no joy.

Seems like a problem with Palm devices.

i have copied the contents of the zip file and pasted it in : Program Files/Navigator and now it seems to work fine

i have copied the contents of the zip file and pasted it in : Program Files/Navigator and now it seems to work fine but you still need the empty TomTom folder on your SD card
