upgrade 3 to 5 install problems...

I've just upgraded to Tomtom BT 5 from 3 and it seems to have incorporated my contacts as as duplicate file they are now known as 'contacts navigation'' but there is also a contacts as per normal (with exactly the same info)

thefirst problem is that I use one of the buttons as a quick start and now instead of bringing up the tomtom it brings up these contacts.
when i go to assign the buttons navigator is there but as I say it just brings up the 'contacts navigator'

I have to use the main menu to start Tomtom

also when you tap home to bring up a list of just used -the tomtom is never there (but contacts navigation is...)

how do I go about removing the file on the card/backup etc totally so then I can re-install clean?

I have tried formatting the card several times but when I start the install and what the T3 hotsync it's syncronising 'navigator contacts' again...

Also I note that when I do actually use it the full postcode won't work !!
I somehow suspect they are connected ...

should I totally wipe the T3 and install the tomtom then reload everything?

If so, would just a 'normal' hotsync reload evrything or would I have to re-install loads of software??
