Hi,
I got the above yesterday, and to be honest i have been really dissapointed with it. Ok it was partly my fault, as i thought it was a 3400 Confused .
I've found that it is absolutaly useless at picking up a satellite fix, and when it does it's very weak (You can sit outside for 10+ mins and it won't get a fix).
I have been all through the forum - tried the anti static bag trick, etc, but with no avail!
I have a compaq iPAQ 3850 and have been running TTN5. I was wondering if anyone could recommend any better hardware to use with it?
Many thanks!!

have you checked to see if can get a firmware update, the 3000 is slower than your 3450

I don't think there is an upgrade for the 3000, just the SE (the one with the external antenna socket) sleeve.
