I downloaded the zip file and extracted the relevent files, opened the desktop for the iCN 650 and then followed the instructions.
When finally attempting to send to the files to the iCN 650 I get the following message ;- "No POI's found in input file"

Is there something else I need to set on my iCN 650 in order for the files to upload?

Help.......!

When you say you followed the instructions, which instructions are you talking about? Have you manipulated the files for use by the Navman software? If not, read this information.

I have now uploaded the information - however it is interesting to note that this required the .csv files to be edited using notepad and NOT excel.

Apparently Excel adds an extra set of quotes around the "Information" making it ""Information"". This confuses the Navman POIEditor so that it can't read the file, although when you view the file in Excel, it looks normal.

This is the reason for stressing ad nauseam the use of Notepad and not Excel.

Sorry for being thick.

My POI editor looks for text files. Do I after editing save the csv file as a txt file. What happens with the bitmaps. I have read the linked thread but only a little wiser.

Have a 610

If you edit the file in Notepad, as the instructions state, it will save as a .csv file.

Unfortunately, Navman users can't use the .wav files.
