TTN5, POI Edit and Pocket GPS Camera Database

How do I record a new camera posiiton and upload it to the camera database for other users to download?

I forgot to say I'm using POI Edit to sync the POIs and the Pocket GPS Camera database.

That is two questions - the second is covered in the camera database webpages. The answer to the first question depends on what version of TT you are using I suspect. If TT5, the best thing to do as you travel is to record the position as a favourite.

When you stop travelling view the favourite on the map, and fine tune the position if necessary. The create a POI category for your camera positions and add a POI from your favourite. Once a month, send the POI file, with descriptiosn of position, type of camera etc to the address given on the camera database webpages.

The reason you need to do it this way rather than go straight to a POI is because it is even more complex to store a new POI based on position when driving.
