Revised GX.dll for TomTom Mio 269/8 users

Frank at www.wincesoft.de has developed a version of GAPI GX.dll driver that functions correctly on the Mio 269. I saw that this site had a version of GAPI that runs on wince machines so asked him if he could get it to work for the Mio. 2 attempts later and a version is available.

Expect it to be released as the next version at some point. I can confirm that with this new gx.dll installed, Tomtom works fine - so this should mean that anyone who is running games or programmes that need to directly access the screen can do so.

thats good to know neil as tom tom 5 is better than miomap.
is it right that you can input the full postcode.its also got to be easier to install the camera software,having said that im getting to grips with things on miomap.

Tomtom allows full postcode level navigation , and is much quicker in use. The best example of this is when tryingi to plan a number of destinations in miomap, using the choose from map option is painfully slow. In 3D mode check how far behind the screen is to reality at 50mph - unacceptable in my view.
