EXCELLENT does what it says it does on a 3850. Reset your PPC, use GPSassist to start TTN2 and wait for long boot up (you will see GPSassist appear to start twice during this, wait). If you don't leave Navigator you will always have GPSassist functional and in control.

ie. DO NOT leave Navigator's main menu structure other than for NAVIGATE TO options. Selecting GPS, MAP etc will hand control back to TTN2, the only way then to give GPSassist control is to start GPSassist again through the PPC menu or by a button you have already preset for starting GPSassist's main program, note. this must have been set up in the main buttons menu, allso if you set the same button in GPSassist to 'SHOW GPSAssist' the button will seamlessly call up GPSAssist which ever program is in control.

The last problem is with the Map Keys, if you attempt to use them after GPSAssist has lost control or even after you have called GPSAssist back up, they do not work, instead they return to your original main button menu settings instead of the settings for GPSASSIST. this is a pain because the only way I have found to correct this is to select GPSAssist-File-Map Keys and then select menu, then you have full functionality again, although not recomended unless you stop your vehicle.

This program really is first class but will they PLEASE PLEASE release the version for TTN2 so that we can all relax and get on with driving.

If anyone knows when it is being released please post the info. PS There is lot's of good advice on this site.    WELL WORTH PERSISTING!!! kev UK chuggyspals
