Connecting my phone to the internet?

Now that TomTom are offering various downloads via their plus service, as well as providing software updates I'll want to be able to download these. I could do it via GPRS but some of the downloads are about 500k, which is nothing at all to my internet connection, but is half of my monthly GPRS allowance!

Is there anywhere I can find an idiots guide to getting my Nokia 3230 connected to the internet via my PC and bluetooth connection?

Not sure if this will work for the 3230, but there's a guide and loads of comments on this link to doing the same thing on the 6600/7610. There's not too much difference between the 3230 and those phones, so hopefully iy'll work for you.
