Great Britain Map Plus?

I have TomTom 5 with Great Britain Map. I want to install Major Roads of Europe map but I understanf it only works with the Great Britain Map Plus. Do I still need the Great Britain Map? What are the differences between GM map and plus?

- There in no MRE map.
- MRE is incorporated in the PLUS map.
- It one or the other.
- Integrated MRE is the difference.

So I don't need to have both maps. I simply delete the great britain and keep the great britain plus which from what u telling me is exactly the same as GB but also has the MRE. So my question is what is the folder Major Roads Of Europe Map? I installed it but when I go to switch to map is not there. If I remove it the MRE are still there (I have selected GBA plus

That MRE folder probably contains the old MRE map from TTN3, or at least only the settings?

This map is not compatible with TTN5, and will not show up in your map list.
You don't need it anymore, because the MRE are now integrated in the Great-Britain_Plus-Map.

One thing to bear in mind. The Plus map is twice as large as the Great Britain map on it's own. I found that when using the plus map it would take in excess of a minute to generate a route and much longer to open the application. My advice woud be to use the benelux plus map for when you need to route in Europe as the detailed map part is much smaller than GB and the overall map size for the plus map is less.

I only have the following maps: Great Britain, Great Britain plus, Benelux, Italy, Iberia, Deutchland, Canary Islands and France. I don't think I have the plus map of benelux. Am I missing maps?

It's quite fast even with the plus map.

I have the upgrade copy that included the western europe maps, when you go to the CD to get the Benelux map, it gives you the option to do a benelux plus map. This is the same in all the CD's for all the maps. It might be different for your version.
