New To GPS

Hello,
I have recently moved to the USA from England and thought a GPS system would help me get around a bit better!I'am new to satelite navigation, and have ordered the Magellan Roadmate 300 Vehicle GPS after speaking to a couple of people who recomended it.( Before i discovered this site) I'm just wondering, before it arrives, if i have made the right choice. Any thoughts?

Depends what you want to achieve. You won't find much support for such a proprietary device here - we're more into Pocket PC based navigation. But hey, it may be right for what you need. (hint, hint - tell us more)
