Mio 268 car mount

Does anyone know of any other type of car mount available for the 268? I find the suction pad supplied, although it sticks well, causes glare on the screen.I have looked at Brodit who make centre and angled clips but I cannot see how the holder fits to the clip. Elastic band perhaps?
Mr vehicle is a Vauxhall Zafira.

Why not try a longer goose neck arm? I had some issues with vibration of the original so purchased a 14 inch seidio mount for 20 quid from expansys. This allows me to position the arm so that it rests on the dash (stopping the vibrations) but also it puts the mio right above the vents in the centre of the console - result is less glare ,easier to reach etc
