Garmin c320 or TomTom Go 300

We are looking for a GPS for our family to travel and make sure my wife does not get lost. Other than we want a good, capable unit, here are our feature priorites in order of importance: accuracy of Maps and Routes, cost, and ease of Use. We have centered our search on the two units in the subject line. I have done research on both and I see some reviews that like the 320 and some that favor the 300. I guess it is a mixed bag that is difficult for me to read.

I would appreciate any personal perspective from current owners or thoughts by persons that have gone through the same decision making process. Thanks for the help in advance.

I had the same decision to make.

I bought the Garmin C320. For me it was a safe choice, as I was happy with the Garmin Streetpilot 3 I had before. I have had good experiences with the Navtech maps Garmin use. I have also found garmin units to have a good GPS reception and good maps(Navtech maps, the Tomtom use different Teleatlas maps). I was concerned from reports on this forum of mapping errors on the TTGo and GPS reception problems.

The only weakness on the Garmin is no postcode search, no speed camera database, no realtime traffic update(I have read this is unreliable on the TTgo).

Overall I am very pleased with the new Garmin.
