bt388 problem? help needed!!!!!!!!!!

bought the bt 388 today.
tested with GPSinfo and GPS TUNER on com7 /38400.

receiver was put on table and had 8 satellites fixed.

In both software had two problems:

1, the speed is not 0, it jumps between 0-3 km/h
2, could not get direction fixed, the arrow constantly circles around.

is it a faulty unit????

any help?????????

this is perfectly normal behaviour. Nothing wrong with the receiver.
