Any news on the us navigator 5???

i have been waitting for 3 months and still no sign of the stuff. anybody got some kind of inside news? ty.

This is the political answer I got from TomTom:

Dear Mr ,

We are looking to release a map update at the end of June. Once Navigator 5 is released you will receive an e-mail notifying you of the update. Generally if one has purchased the software and activated it within the 90 day time frame of the new software being released, the update is free. If you are outside the 90 day window, the update is $49.00 plus shipping and handling. Please keep in mind this date could be pushed back due to software development.

I got TT 5 BT with the USA maps(8 cds) on June 26.
Model TT-1H50.082

I don't think the maps are the old ones(on the cds the copyrights is 2005, even if it does not mean anything!), anyway the reply from Tomtom USA makes me think...
